Dal piccolo al grande schermo. In Boris - Il film, il regista televisivo René Ferretti (Francesco Pannofino) tenta il grande salto: un film d'autore dopo tanti anni di fiction su carabinieri, intrighi ospedalieri e drammi in costume da prima serata. Insomma, un risarcimento dopo tutta una carriera dedicata al brutto. Ma il mondo del cinema è addirittura peggio di quello della tv, perché sotto l'allure del "salotto buono dell'industria culturale" si nasconde un sottobosco di sceneggiatori ricchi e nullafacenti, attrici nevrotiche, direttori della fotografia che si sentono grandi artisti. E, sopra a tutto, lo spettro incombente del Cinepattone, l'unico vero genere cinematografico che il pubblico apprezza e che, a dispetto dei "cinematografari" snob, manda avanti la baracca. Tra finanziamenti ministeriali che non arrivano mai, produttori senza un soldo, e agenti cinematografici spietati come squali, Boris - Il film racconta il lato oscuro dello showbiz italiano, con lo stesso cast della serie e gli stessi autori: Giacomo Ciarrapico, Mattia Torre e Luca Vendruscolo, che firmano anche la regia.
Il 1 aprile so che fare. Speriamo sia all'altezza della serie e sia girato a cazzo di cane.
